Group play is completed at the Disney Showcase and Springfield SC has moved into the semifinals of the Predator Bracket. Their 1-0 win over AYSE 91 (North TX) on a goal by Ryan Moses has earned them the opportunity to face off against another Texas squad, in this case the TSC Texan’s 91’s, winner’s of the Region III Tournament last summer. TSC Texans 91 earned 7 points with a 2-0-1 record. Their closest opponent was the Ft Wayne Fever, who tied the Texan’s 1-1. You may remember the Fever, 1-2 losers to SSC last June in Group play at the Region II Tournament.

Springfield SC Battles for Disney Showcase Semifinal Position Tonight

Springfield Soccer ClubWith a pair of wins in their first two games, the Springfield SC U17 Boys sit atop their group today with six points. They’ll face off against AYSES 91 Gold (from North Texas) at 8:30 pm this evening needing a tie or a win to go through to the knock-out round.
