Third-seeded Drury (15-4-3), making its first-ever NCAA tournament appearance, will play sixth-seeded West Virginia Wesleyan College (16-4-2) at 6 p.m. Friday at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Korte Stadium in Edwardsville, Ill.

The Drury-Wesleyan winner will then meet No. 2 seed SIUE (13-4-1) at 1 p.m. Sunday, also in Edwardsville.

“We are very happy to get into the tournament … and happy to be playing somebody new at this time of the year,” said Drury coach Alf Bilbao, whose Panthers won their first GLVC championship Sunday on the SIUE field by defeating Missouri-St. Louis 5-4 in a penalty-kick shootout.

WVWC is located in Buckhannon, West Virginia, and claimed an automatic bid in the field by winning the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament with a 2-1 triumph over Wheeling Jesuit. The Lady Bobcats went 11-1-1 in WVIAC play to claim the regular season title.
