With a 107th minute goal from freshman Kelsey Long (Bishop Miege), the Lady Panthers beat the Quincy Hawks and moved into the GLVC Final in their first ever visit to the playoffs. Long, and freshman midfield partner Sarah Colvin-Fritz (Lindbergh), played vital roles in the game this evening.
Sunday’s game will be at 1:00 pm and will feature either the SIU-Edwardsville Cougars, who lost to the Panthers 2-0 early in the season or the UMSL Triton’s who lost to Drury 2-0 in the first Conference game this year.
