  6. Mary McQueary says:

The Springfield sports page article today, which was supposed to be about the Greenwood – Bolivar game, sounded like the Bolivar coach actually wrote it. If the News-Leader covers soccer, which is rarely, shouldn’t they have also talked to Coach Shull of Greenwood?

  7. coach shull says:

That is fine. I don’t worry about stuff like that. However, I did have a nice meat loaf recipe that I was going to share to all of springfield. I look for Bolivar to do some good in districts. Good luck Bolivar-go get em!!

  8. Austin-Lib. Captain says:

    Thanks Coach Shull!!

  9. Jeffries says:

I havent cared for some of the players that have come through Greenwood the last couple of years but you Coach Shull are a class act. Keep it up until you face NCA again!

  10. Educated Bystandered says:

Bolivar is a team that is composed of little boys who like to cry when they get bumped in the head. I’m sorry that teams don’t like to play physical. If you don’t like how the game is played then maybe you should try badminton. And I don’t care for any of the parents. Adults who trash talk high school soccer players. Classy…..

  11. coach shull says:

Your probably right, Jeffries. Your probably right. In the meantime, lets all settle down and try my meat loaf recipe.

Shredded carrot and potato give this meatloaf additonal flavor and texture.
    INGREDIENTS:
    1 pound extra-lean ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork or ground chuck
    1 cup diced onion
    1 large baking potato, shredded
    1 medium carrot, shredded
1/2 cup vegetable broth, or chicken broth
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 large egg
1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
    1/3 cup ketchup
    1/2 teaspoon herb seasoning mixture
    .
    Topping:
    1 cup of tomato sauce
    PREPARATION:
    Heat oven to 375°.
Combine all ingredients until blended. Pack into a lightly greased meatloaf pan or loaf pan, or shape into a loaf and place in an 11×7-inch baking dish. Bake for 1 hour. Pour off excess grease, spread 1/4 cup ketchup over the top of the loaf, and bake for 20 to 30 minutes longer.

  12. Mary McQueary says:

I believe that when someone has something productive to say, they should have the character to sign their full name. Remarks like comments 10, 11, and 12 are very disapointing. Let’s just play soccer.
