Brazil

It was a tough morning today. Up early to enjoy some soccer and while there was some excellent soccer to be seen, it wasn’t in a white jersey. The girls were out-classed today and for a team that has utilized a sports psychologist, it is the coach who is taking the heat for a team that was unprepared.

Brazil Bounces U.S. From Women’s World Cup by Steven Goff – The United States was smashed from the Women’s World Cup on Thursday night by a Brazilian team that displayed the skill, speed, composure, class and finishing prowess of its celebrated men’s squad.

Unforgiven by Adam Spangler “To nobody’s surprise, Brazil proved to be in a different class against the U.S.” That’s the ESPN headline still up at soccernet regarding the recent friendly between our men’s national team and Brazil’s. I never in a million years thought the same could be said for our women.

    i would have to agree with hope on that one, yes scurry was a great that was 3 years ago and since then she has only played in 7 games so i was shocked at the move and i belive it lead to the usa’s down fall but what can ya do huh?
