If you’ve missed the brief highlights on ESPN, the Women’s World Cup is down to the final 8 as group stage qualifying has been completed. The US Women will face England on Saturday morning, 6:55 am start time on ESPN2.
The winner will face the winner of the Brazil vs Australia game that will be broadcast on ESPN2 on Sunday at 6:55 am. Australia won their first ever World Cup match to reach the quarterfinals so the odds are that the US (or England) will see Brazil. That game will be Thursday at 6:55 am (ESPN2)
On the other side of the bracket, Saturday mornings early game features holders Germany vs. North Korea, 4am on ESPN2. Sunday morning features China vs. Norway at 4am on ESPN2. Winners from those two games face off on Wednesday morning at 6:55 am (ESPN2)
Plenty of stories and video on the FIFA.com website and I’m keeping the Calendar up-to-date with broadcast information.
