From the Joplin Globe - Very few times does a team dominate a game offensively and lose. The Eagles moved to 7-1 and pulled even with Glendale at 3-1 in the Ozark Conference.
Camdenton Lakers - 5
at Hillcrest Hornets - 0
The Lakers, coming off a tough 1-2 OT loss against Sedalia Smith-Cotton on Monday, came to Hillcrest hoping to shake off the string of 1 goal losses they’ve faced this season. The Hornets played them tightly, and it wasn’t until stoppage time in the first half that the Lakers were able to give themselves some breathing room when sr Josh Baldwin snapped off a couple of hard shots in the box. The Lakers got their final goal in the 48th minute and the Hornets defense combined to keep a clean sheet for the remainder of the match, including some fine play from goalie Mike (pictured).
Rolla Bulldogs - 3
West Plains Zizzers - 2
No goals through the run of play, everything scored from set pieces. In the 9th minute Adam Daily scores on header on corner kick from Andrew Chism to but the Bulldogs ahead. In the 27th minute Hishem Belarbi scores on header on corner kick by Andrew Chism and Chamal Samaranayke scored on a penalty kick in the 29th. West Plains fought back in the 2nd half, with Justin Scicluna scoring on a penalty kick in the 46th and in the 54th minute on a bullet from 15 yards out off a corner kick by Brice Hunt. Shane Corl saved a PK to keep it close.
Kickapoo Chiefs - 6
at Parkview Vikings - 1
A pair of goals from Zach Hay to open the game, Melugin gets three and Ian Kennedy one while Dane Knapp puts the Vikings on the scoreboard. From the News-Leader “Our goal is to win the conference, get past sectionals, then into the final four at state, then go from there,” said Melugin, whose three goals came in the second half.
Waynesville Tigers - 2
Lebanon Yellowjackets - 0
Scoreless at halftime. Lebanon own-goal proved to be the winner. Patrick Phillips scored the insurance goal for WHS.
NON-CONFERENCE GAMES
Cassville Wildcats - 3
Carl Junction Bulldogs - 2
Cassville scored first on an unassisted goal and then Carl Junction’s J.T. Chirwa tied up the game with his unassisted goal. The score remained knotted at 1-1 going into the half. In the second half, Patrick Chism put the Bulldogs on top with his goal. Uziel Franco netted Cassville’s last two goals to give the Wildcats the victory. Both goalkeepers were kept busy. Cassville’s Anthony Larson was credited with seven saves and the Bulldogs’ Richie Carson had six saves. The Wildcats played the majority of the game without starting forward Ryan Schlichtman, who
left the game after colliding with the Carl Junction keeper after only two minutes into the game.

Neosho Wildcats - 1
Neosho opened the the scoring from Logan Tomasetti. Robbie Curtis tied the game for the Tigers and Zach Moore got the game winner from Gabe Axtell in the second half. Ozark GK Jason Taylor 11 saves and the Tigers moved to 7-1 while Neosho is 4-4
