The Lakers scored first on a freekick from midfield by Jeff Dorhauer that was headed in by midfielder Zach Helms in the 25th minute. The Lakers maintain the possesion in the midfield and controlled play only allowing 1 shot on goal by SMith-Cotton until the last 30 seconds of the second half. A Smith-Cotton midfielder kicked a high clear from midfield that bounced over the Camdenton Goalkeepers head off the cross bar and was finished by Smith-Cotton to tie the game 1-1. Early in the second overtime Smith-Cotton was able to finish a corner kick that was touched by four different people to gain the victory. For Camdenton, 5 of their first 7 games have finished in either overtime, double overtime, or PK.s.

Bolivar Liberators - 2
Springfield Catholic - 0
The Liberators earned their fifth shut-out of the season. It was a game that saw a lot of midfield play, intense action all over the field, and some nice saves from the both goalies.

Joplin Eagles - 4
Greenwood Blue Jays - 3
Joplin goes up 3-0 in the first half only to see Greenwood come back strong in the second. A PK goal by Max Duncan, his 3rd goal on the evening, was the difference.

Monett Cubs - 4
Willard Tigers - 0
District 5 continues to be a competitive group as Monett gets the win over the Tigers after an earlier season loss at the Willard Tournament.

Webb City Cardinals - 8
Central Bulldogs - 1
TJ Martin leads the Cardinals with four goals.

    The Greenwood - Joplin game on Monday afternoon at Cooper was really exciting.
    The Blue Jays totally dominated the second half by scoring 3 great goals and their defense
    stayed strong.
