As a coach at Carthage for 11 years, I always paid attention to your coaching. I never really had a mentor, so I watched you and your team - usually while you were handing me a loss, and tried to learn. You acted in the same gracious manner towards my kids and me whether you won (20 some times), or whether you lost (1 time). And after that one loss, though we had been outshot and outplayed, I apologetically said, "Hey, Jeff, we were lucky tonight." And you said, "No way. Your kids played great. You deserved to win."
