Just a note to remind the sports and civic-minded out there that the Missouri State Bears are holding their annual sports auction at the Springfield Expo Center this evening. A $30 donation puts you inside where there will be a variety of items for bid through silent and live auctions. There will also be a 50/50 raffle available. And did I mention the food carnival? Tomorrow evening, the Women’s soccer team will host the Central Missouri Jennie’s in a preseason exhibition match. The Jennie’s are a Division 2 squad from Warrensburg, MO that features Kickapoo grad Erin Hainey. Game time is 7:00 pm
