OK, I’ve avoided the mass hysteria and didn’t throw anything up. I have seen a few interesting items that haven’t gotten a lot of play, especially if you’ve been on the water all month. And maybe I’m being a snob but I’d rather see Beck’s continue to use the term futbol rather then adopting the American term.

Please world, let America be indifferent to pro soccer Bryan Burwell’s effort in St Louis to tell us what he thinks of soccer. I think the attitude he expresses will be recognized as the dinosaur that he is. Remember, it’s not football in America, it’s “incredibly massive men on steroids and human-growth hormone trying to dismember each other”.
