Lake Country Soccer will host the 2007 Sister Cities Soccer Exchange on June 30th, July 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 2007 represents the third consecutive year in which Springfield and Lake Country Soccer have participated in the Sister Cities Association Soccer Exchange program. This year’s event features youth teams and players in the U12-U15 age range including Scott Gallagher (St. Louis), Lou Fusz (St. Louis), Springfield SC, the Springfield Sister Cities Exchange team and Club Atlas from Tlaquepaque, Mexico. The tentative schedule is:
Saturday, June 30th
12:00pm Scott Gallagher v Club Atlas (Cooper #1)
2:00pm Lou Fusz v Sister Cities Exchange (Cooper #1)
3:30pm Scott Gallagher v Springfield SC (Cooper #1)
Sunday, July 1st
10:00am Lou Fusz v Club Atlas (Cooper # 1)
10:00am Scott Gallagher v Sister Cities Exchange (Cooper #2)
2:00pm Springfield SC v Lou Fusz (Cooper #1)
Monday, July 2nd
10:00am Springfield SC v Sister Cities Exchange (Cooper #1)
6:00pm Springfield SC v Club Atlas (Cooper #1)
Tuesday, July 3rd - 2007 Sister Cities Cup
6:00pm Sister Cities Exchange v Club Atlas (Cooper #1)
All games will be played at Lake Country Soccer on the Cooper fields. Admission is free.
