With all of the local activity, I’ve neglected the heads up on tonights friendly against China for the US Men’s National Team. It’s the first game for Bob Bradley since he was named Head Coach (not interim) and he’s got an interesting lineup. Bob was the original coach of the Chicago Fire, and that first season in 1998 was a humdinger. So it’s not too much surprise to see four players from his Fire period on tonights list, including Jesse Marsch, an underrated midfielder if there ever was one. He also has brought in MLS scoring leader Ante Razov, Demarcus Beasley and Carlos Bocanegra. The lone St Louis representative is Frank Simek.
There is also a KC Wizards game against Red Bull New York (hey Pam!) at the same time. Get the recorders going.
