The Columbia Hickman Kewpies have hired Larry Thornburg to coach the Boys team beginning this Fall. The position became available when Jon Strodtman resigned, although he will continue to coach the girls squad. From the Columbia Tribune:
Thornburg, who has been coaching soccer for more than 20 years, has mostly guided competitive youth teams. His only experience with high school soccer came in 2002-2004 when he was the freshman boys coach at Rock Bridge.
