PDL: Thunder Bay Chill Shut Out Springfield Demize

The News-Leaders offers details on Friday’s game, a 5-0 win for the visitors who are now dreaming about the playoffs. Tonights game against the Division-leading St Louis Lions will answer those questions for the Chill.

There’s also a nice story from the Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal on the teams defensive prowess. Interesting to note the Chill goalkeeper, Stephen Paterson, is from Western Illinois – his coach this past season is current Demize Owner/Coach (and losing goalkeeper last night) Armen Tonianse. mayfair dubai escorts

U20 World Cup Begins Today

The teams have gathered in Canada and the games open this evening with the US vs South Korea. The group stage games are all being broadcast live on ESPNU (now available on Mediacom) with today’s match at 1:15 pm.

The World Cup will run from June 30-July 22 in Canada. The U.S. was drawn into Group D with Korea Republic, Poland and Brazil. This is the sixth straight appearance for the U.S. in the world championship and their 11th overall. The U.S. opens against Korea Republic on June 30, then faces Poland on July 3 and concludes group play on July 6 against four-time U-20 world champions Brazil.

The team is a mix of college players and MLS players, including Freddy Adu and Michael Bradley from the senior team. The US roster has 14 players who are professionals, the largest number of any of the qualifiers.independent escort website

PDL: Springfield Demize Host Chill Tonight

The PDL season is rapidly winding down. Our local boys have two home games remaining, including a chance for revenge this evening against the Thunder Bay Chill.

You may recall that the Chill put the Demize on ice during a two day road trip earlier this month. Now it’s their turn to make the 15 hour drive and play on the road and I’m certain the Demize have been preparing to be ungracious hosts, at least on the pitch.

Game time is 7:30 pm tonight, at Cooper Soccer Complex at Lake Country Soccer.

I’m still in St Louis, visiting my parents, so if there are any budding sports writers out there interested in providing a game report for this site, send it my way and see what kind of action you can get at the clubs afterwards when you tell them you write for!lebanese escort in dubai

MLS on ESPN2 Tonight – DC United vs Rapids

KC Wizards Starting 11 You can get your MLS fix tonight at 6:00 pm on ESPN2 as DC United host the Colorado Rapids.

DC United visit the Kansas City Wizards on Wednesday July 4th for a 12:00 noon home game in Arrowhead Stadium. I’m planning on driving up for the game that day and returning after the game. Should put me back in Springfield by 6 pm which is plenty of time to BBQ and then take in any fireworks that evening. Anyone who’s interested in joining me for the day, let’s get a carpool/caravan going. Contact me. And no, it’s not just because the Wizards have named their Starting 11 (pictured). I hope to have some time to chat with Jack Jewsbury after the game, before the drive home.

Speaking of Jackie, be certain to take a minute to check out his goal from the Columbus Crew game.massage sex in dubai
