Some news from our friends at Springfield SC:
Congratulations to the Springfield Soccer Club 92-93 U-14 Girls who completed their year with a tournament win in Jefferson City at the Third Annual Spring Finale (photo).
They finish the year with a 24-3-4 record. The team took first place in the Kansas Premier Soccer League and three tournament titles (Fall Classic, Champions Challenge and The Spring Season Finale).
In their three other tournaments they reached the final once (Tulsa Thunder Friendship Cup), advanced as a wild card before being rained out (Gateway Shootout) and failed to advance with a 1-0-2 record in the Sam Shannon Memorial in Tulsa. The team is coached by Rob Brewer (MSU Women’s Head Coach) and Kirsten Hatz.
