Folks, if you are a regular reader, you already know about Springfield SC’s U16 Boys Team that won the Missouri State Championship. But have you seen them play? On Sunday you have a great opportunity to see the quality of play this team has to offer.
The boys will be playing their final Midwest Regional League game of the season on Sunday against the Scott Gallagher squad that is coming to town. A win ensures second place, with their only loss coming to the #1 boys club in the country, the Chicago Magic.

I’m afraid I won’t be able to attend, my nephew (Lafayette, who were State Finalists you may recall) is graduating so I’ll be in St Louis. I hope to hear about a very large crowd that will be out Representing Springfield Soccer! Let’s send them to the Region II Tournament with the memory of the support Springfield can offer them.
