West Plain Zizzers – 3
Central Bulldogs – 2
The match this evening was a back and forth affair, as the Bulldogs twice had a one goal lead only to see a 70th minute score seal the win for the visitors. Central’s Myriah Hicks opened the scoring in the 14th minute only to see the Zizzer’s equalize one minute later, Katie Shannon from Amy Armstrong. The Bulldogs came out strong to start the second half and were rewarded when Heather Bodenhamer got the lead back in the 46th. It took another twenty minutes of active play before Rachel Skelly was able to break in alone and score (pictured at left), sent in by Mollie Plocher. The game winner came from Plocher with a strong shot from the right side that found the back side netting.

At halftime Greenwood had a 1-0 lead that came from #13, whose shot deflected off a defender and skipped past the goaltender who was headed in the opposite direction.
