Lebanon Yellowjackets - 5
Parkview Vikings - 1
The Yellowjackets came to Springfield this evening to take on Ozark Conference foe Parkview. Initially underestimating their opponent, Lebanon found themselves on the wrong side of a 1-0 score in the 7th minute
of the game on a goal by jr. Stephanie Wilson. As Lebanon struggled to find a rythmn, the Vikings matched the attacking pressure the Yellowjackets are becoming known for. It wasn’t until the 27 minute when So. Hanna Winkel volleyed a ball into the upper left 90 of the net from 8 yards, tying the game at 1. It would stay knotted at one through the break as the Vikings put together their best 40 minutes of this young season.
The second half saw a new respect for their opponents from the Yellowjackets, and a renewed commitment to playing to their capabilities. In the 44th minute Brianna Ragains was able to tap in a ball at the far post for the eventual game winner. It came as a result of a strong run down the right side by Stephanie O’Halloran (pictured in black, against Liz Carney of Parkview) who then powered a low, hard cross that made it through the box where Ragains was waiting. Cassie Wood scored the third goal on a break away at the right side of the eighteen and put a floater over the Parkview keeper. In the 72nd minute Winkel took a perfectly weighted pass from Emily Boyer and was able to beat the keeper with a stepover and soft pass to the side netting. Boyer ended the scoring in the 78th minute when she was able to tap in a ball that the Parkview keeper had originally stopped, following her own shot into the face of the goal she pushed the ball over the line.
Kickapoo Chiefs - 2 (OT)
Rolla Bulldogs - 1
Rolla had the chance to draw first blood this evening only to see So. midfielder Ashley Kerr bounce her penalty kick off the under side of the crossbar in the 25th minute. It was the 53rd minute of play when Kickapoo was awarded a penalty kick of their own and Junior Katy McClain converted it for the Lady Chiefs. Rolla fr. Olivia Cox tied the game in stoppage time when she scored off of a serve from Ashley Kerr to send the game into overtime. Junior Chealsey Russell scored the game winner for Kickapoo with three minutes remaining in the first overtime with a 25 yard blast. RHS falls to 1-1-1 overall and 0-1-0 in OC while Kickapoo is 2-2-0 overall and 2-0-0 in OC play.
Glendale Falcons - 7
Camdenton Lakers - 0

This is the third game of Sprouse’s varsity career and she has five goals on the season and a three game streak. Junior Lorin Opfer contributed two goals and two assists and Jeni Frewin also had two goals.
Joplin Eagles - 1
West Plains Zizzers - 0
Joplin earned the win following an own goal by the Zizzer’s in 71st minute. It came as Mollie Plocher attempted to clear a ball out of the box on a corner kick, only to see it carom off Eagle Lauren Copple and end in the goal.
