The South Americans have qualified for the last two World Cups, and made it to the round of 16 before succumbing to England, 1-0. Ecuador’s roster for Sunday’s match includes 11 players who participated in last summer’s tournament, including goal-scoring hero Carlos Tenorio, as well as PSV Eindhoven midfielder Edison Mendez.

it pains me to say donavon played well today. I just wish he could play like that on a regular basis or in big games. He has found a good niche, just behind the forwards. I am still wondering when we are going to get a couple forwards. Ching played well but Johnson was again nonexsistent. What about Dempsey and Beasley absent as well.
