This is a nice coupe for Coach Bilbao and his assistant Ryan Swan. From the Jeff City News Tribune:
Jessie Sanderson of Jefferson City High School has signed a letter-of-intent to play soccer at Drury University in Springfield.
Sanderson, a two-time all-state selection by the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association at goalkeeper, is an NSCAA/Adidas High School Scholar All-American.
Attending a recent signing ceremony with Sanderson were her parents, Carol and Tom Sanderson. Also attending were Lady Jays head coach Chris Miller and assistant coach Matt Stacey.
TWO time ALL STATE selection in Class 2 Girls. Jessie’s been coming to Springfield for her entire high school career, attending the Missouri State Soccer Camps, and I know she was interested in the Bears. Assistant Coach Ryan Swan handled the recruiting, being very familiar with her capabilities from his two seasons as the men’s soccer assistant coach at Columbia (Mo.) College and as director of the Columbia Soccer Club.

Jessie and I have played against each other in club and high school soccer since we were both in middle school, and I am very glad that she is coming to Drury! I’ve seen what she can do, and I know that she will be a great addition to our team! We are all looking forward to Jessie playing with us next season.
