Ross Chaffin Signs With University of Denver

The News-Leader offers a tid bit:

Ross Chaffin, a forward for Greenwood, will play soccer at Denver University, according to a press release.
Chaffin was a four-year starter, an all-state player and helped Greenwood to state in 2005.

Denver is a Division I school that plays in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation along with the University of New Mexico, NCAA runners up in 2005.

Ross signed with the new head coach during his official campus visit February 19-20. Bobby Muuss was the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Wake Forest University for the past six seasons. The Demon Deacons reached a #1 ranking twice during that period and earned their first trip to the Final Four in 2006.

The school is located in Denver, South of the downtown area and includes hockey, lacrosse and ski teams in the athletic department. Women outnumber men by a ratio of 52% to 48%. Oh, to be young again :) Congratulations Ross!
