Folks, I’ve gotten this question several times already so here’s the bottom line.
Update - I can now accept block ticket purchases for ten or more tickets. $7.50 for adults, $5.50 for students and U13, an ID will be required at the theatre. Make your check out to Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield or MFAS, and get it to me by Wednesday. The tickets will be available at The Gillioz anytime on Saturday. Use the contact form or call me at 569-8062 about tickets for your team!
To ensure that you get a seat to see the film, you will need to purchase your ticket the day of the show (Saturday February 24th) at The Gillioz. All seats will be general admission, first come, first served. If we get the crowd we hope to see, you will want to plan on being at the theatre 30 minutes or more in advance.
We are a volunteer organization and have not yet been able to implement an advance sale process yet. Its a goal of mine for next years Festival. Use this as an opportunity to enjoy a meal downtown with the kids and support soccer and downtown. Nonna’s on South Avenue is a great value and has wonderful homestyle meals that I enjoy a lot. Trolley’s menu reminds me of some of the national chains and its popular with the southside crowd. Both are supporting the Festival this year and deserve our support.
Alternately you can purchase a Festival Pass in advance - a one day pass is $22.50 (all day Saturday or for Thursday & Friday), a All Screening pass is $40.00 and a Full Festival pass is $60.00. It includes our Premiere party on Wednesday night and the Oscar viewing party Sunday evening. You can download the ticket information and the flyer via the links below. You will still need to wait in line due to the General Admission policy but bypass the ticket line and go straight into the theatre. Support the Festival and order your tickets in advance in this fashion.
The entire Film Festival Program will be an eight-page pullout in this weeks GO Magazine so look for it at your favorite outlet and see how many wonderful films we have on tap for you.
