Brian Wilbanks New Cassville Wildcats Head Coach

Missouri State Bears vs Creighton Blue Jays Athletic Director Terry Jamieson at Cassville High School has announced his retirement as Head Coach for the Boys soccer team. He can be seen in the white tshirt above the walkway along with the busload of Cassville fans that attended the MSU vs Creighton match.

Brian Wilbanks, who has been the Varsity Assistant and Coach of the JV team for five years and also teaches Biology at the High School, has been named the new Coach. I asked AD Jamieson for some thoughts on Coach Wilbanks:

He is very instrumental in running the soccer school I began six years ago. He has been conducting camps for our youth for the past three years. He developed my son, Aaron, and that class of kids.

Aaron was a 1st Team selection to the District 5 team as a midfielder. As a soccer coach, Terry Jamieson had a record of 107-57-5 with the Class 2 Cassville Wildcats. He was District Coach of the Year twice and was the NSCAA State Coach of the Year in 2005 when the Wildcats reached the State Finals where they finished tied for third. He was also a Head Coach for last years Southwest Soccer All-Star game.

Congratulations gentlemen!
