Brian Bounds Hired By Kansas City Wizards

Bounds Soccer SystemsCongratulations are in order for Brian Bounds, Bounds Soccer Systems, who has achieved a long sought goal. He recently accepted a full-time position as Assistant Athletic Trainer with the KC Wizards of Major League Soccer.

The job is a new position, instituted by the new owners of the Wizards. On Goal LLC is a local ownership group, committed to keeping the Wizards in Kansas City and establishing the team as a model within Major League Soccer. This is a small but telling step in that direction. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a member of the Springfield Soccer community that is being given the opportunity.

Here’s a short video interview I did with him so you can hear it directly. Using my Nokia 6682 mobile phone. Well done Brian!

I just want to personally thank everyone who has supported me over my years here in Springfield. You have all been instrumental in my success and quest for this goal. I am very excited about this opportunity and am looking forward to it. It has been a real pleasure working with all the young footballers in this area. I hope that I have helped them out as much as they have helped me. Springfield has been a great place for me and I won’t forget everyone here. Please let me know if you ever need anything! Thank you all very much!
