Amen, Susan.
Our family decision to have Matt attend Parkview has been a rewarding experience for us as well.A higher power will probably need to be called upon to ever change the way of thinking in regard to soccer at Spfd Catholic High School.

Been there done that! Our daughter graduated from SCHS so we knew what the school had to offer. Tyler attended his freshman year there. Our family then made the decision to attend Parkview HS with soccer being low on our pro/con list in making that decision. The diversity in academics, culture and activities/athletics at PHS made it a great choice not just for our kids but our family as a whole. Good luck to anyone who tries to bring Boys Soccer to SCHS. In the words of the then director of development for Spfd Catholic Schools 'it's not about the kids, it's about the money'. Add to that these words of wisdom from the AD (in response to our point that there are a lot of boys "on the football team" that never set foot on the playing field) 'even though you're not very good, you can be on the team and watch others succeed.'

Agreed. The fact that Catholic High School doesn't have a soccer team is a joke and a travesty. Catholic has chased off player after player to other schools, including the Hamilton boys (I believe) just to name a few. They have the talent, they should have a team.
