The weather kept some of the folks at home but it was an enthusiastic and supportive group that was out enjoying the ‘beautiful game’ on Saturday morning. The YMCA has two youth soccer programs and I was out taking in the Northside version. With teams covering the gamut of elementary school ages, it was fun to see how the parents worked to ensure the kids had the opportunity to play. The photos are from a pick up game that was cobbled together to ensure that the kids who made it out due to the dicey weather got their chance.
