No, this is not a recipe folks but it is a wonderful movie that features the music and family 
you may know as either “Big Smith” or the “Pine Ridge Singers”. A documentary film made by a German filmmaker from footage shot between November 4-28, 2003, it follows the local bluegrass/gospel band and it’s members. It’s also a remarkable study in the extended families that have been in the Ozarks for four or five generations.
I would highly recommend you try and make it out to the Moxie Cinema in downtown Springfield to enjoy the movie, the music and the family history. Until September 5th.
