From the Joplin Globe comes news that College Heights Christian has found a new soccer coach to replace Daniel Lewis who was recently name principal of the school.
Tim Casey, a 2002 graduate of College Heights, will be the head soccer coach.
Casey played defense for the Cougars for four years and played two years at OCC. He replaces Daniel Lewis, who became the school’s principal. “I always loved playing for coach Lewis,” Casey said. “I know I have some big shoes to fill, but I know he’ll be there for support. I respect him and the whole program he’s built. I’m a little used to the program and excited about keeping the tradition going.”Casey is married to the former Shauna Thonure from St. Louis. She intends to work on a business degree at Missouri Southern this year. Williams, who coached soccer briefly at OCC when he first started, will be Casey’s assistant.
