ESPN did a recent overview of the support the US Men’s National Team receives from Sam’s Army. You can see it in this short clip that Jarrett from Triangle Soccer Fanatics (again) pointed to and I’m sharing with you now.
We have an opportunity locally to show our colors as well. Come out Thursday evening to Cooper Soccer Complex for the 2nd Annual Southwest Soccer All Star game. The production team from Mediacom will be out in force, with FOUR cameras, to capture the boys and girls game for later rebroadcast. You need to be out in your school colors to support your players, and “Springfield Soccer”, so that we can ensure that it is not another ten years before Mediacom broadcasts a soccer game in this town.
Bring your teammates, bring your famiy, bring your friends who are beginning to understand the joy ‘the beautiful game’ brings us. Show Mediacom and the All Stars how much we love this game and that we want more!
