Soccer-Specific Training with Brian Bounds
Brian Bounds, owner and operator of Bounds Soccer Systems, will be running a soccer-specific training program for junior high and high school soccer players over the summer. US – Venezuela recap
The United States showed excellent energy from the opening whistle. I liked the younger line up that the Americans used. Our players really ran at the Venezuelans. We did a good job of using our wide players and their services were brilliant. We switched the point of attack very well throughout the match and created many opportunities from this. The backs played very well as the Venezuelans posed no threat.

Springfield Catholic and Timberland (Wentzville) met for the third consecutive year at Jefferson City’s Art Firley Soccer Park for the right to go to the Class 1 Final Four. Two years ago Catholic topped the Wolves and eventually made it to the state final. Last season Timberland rallied for a late goal to beat the Irish, which propelled them to a 3rd place finish in the final four.
