The Pershing Generals (Lady Generals?) took home the hardware this evening with their 2-0 win over their local rivals, Catholic. Emily Cline scored both goals in the first half, helping Pershing to their second straight girls title and fourth overall between the boys and girls squads.

You will never hear me say “Lady Generals”. I’m not a fan of of “Lady” anything, but definitely not in this case since General is a rank and has nothing to do with gender.
