The Hickman Kewpies beat the Rock Bridge Bruins in the game that counted, 2-0 last night in Jeff City. After tieing 2-2 at the Smith-Cotton Tournament and losing 0-1 on an overtime penalty kick less then two weeks ago, the Kewpies scored two in the second half to move onto the Class 2 District 10 Final.
The will face the Jefferson City Helias Crusaders who upset #2 seed Jefferson City 1-0 on Tuesday night. The goal came on a corner kick, Lauren Ploch to Stephanie Bruemmer
The Lady Crusaders (17-4-2) will face the Lady Kewpies (11-6-4) for the district crown at 6 p.m. Thursday.
PS – Cubs Win! a 4-0 victory Tuesday night over the Washington Nationals.
