Glendale 4, West Plains 1 - The Falcons opened the scoring in the 16th minute on a goal from sophomore Lou Opfer and scored three more unanswered goals until Jr. Jessica Brixey of the Lady Zizzer’s got behind the defense to score in the 77th minute. Jessica’s goal set a new scoring record at West Plains. Glendales other goals were scored by Ashley Meyer, Rebecca Robinson Laura McElroy. Laura, 2nd team District 11 goalkeeper, scored her goal on a well taken penalty kick. It is her only high school goal to date. Lou - how did she react?
Nixa 8, Hillcrest 0 - The Eagles scored four in each period, earning the shutout win over the Hornets. Goals were scored by Natalie Hoffmann, Jessie Yach, Sunnie Kendrick, Hannah Barber, Brittany Cobb, Luce Crim and Adrienee McDonald who netted two. Assists were credited to Stephanie Allen (2), Bailey Chandler), McDonald and Amanda Harp.
Camdenton 6, Willard 0 - Hailey Christiansen scored three times, including the first one, Jenny Melton scored twice and Blaire Baker had one for the difference in this matchup between a Class 3 and a Class 2 squad. Assists were credited to Melton (2) and Keri Sauvage
Joplin 3, Neosho 0 - Goals by Kelsey Sanders (Stephanie Taylor assist), Jessica Baker (Hillary Wight assist) and Rachel Driver
Kickapoo 6, Ozark 0 - On Senior Night, the Chief’s got goals from 5 seniors. Goals were scored by Karissa Nedoma, Jackie and Jamie Sabel, Afton Weimer, and Sam Lucas. Katy Mclain (sophomore) got the other goal.
Jeff City at Rolla - rained out

Well I think anyone who saw the game would agree that Laura was super excited. (if you couldnt tell by all the jumping up and down she was doing) Who would of thought an awesome goalie could nail a pk without hesitation! Hah way to go laura!!!
