Rolla 2 – Glendale 1

This game in Rolla between fierce Ozark Conference rivals reflected the intensity both teams bring to the game and is often the case, plays a major role in determining the Ozark Conference champion. Kaitlin got her turn in the 20th minute on a ball from Sophie Cox, giving the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead at halftime. Glendale continued to fight and were kept close in the match by some fine goalkeeping by Laura McElroy according to reliable (Rolla) sources. Brittany Bloom pulled the Falcons within one goal when she scored, assisted by Jeni Frewin, in injury time.

The game takes the Bulldogs to 12-1-3 on the year and 6-0-0 in the Ozark Conference. Barring a major upset by either West Plains, Parkview or Hillcrest, the Bulldogs should finish undefeated and retain their Ozark Conference crown.
