The game is being played atSAS Soccer Park, also home of Springfield Soccer correspondent (tongue in cheek) Jarrett Campbell. Jarrett runs the TriSoccerFan site I’ve mentioned previously and he’s getting great access to SAS Park and the US Men’s National team. Check out these photos from practice on Sunday. One of the human interest stories is Tony Meola being called up to earn his 100th cap with the team. I love the idea, but it makes me feel old.
The game is being shown on ESPN2 and begins at 6:00 pm. USA! USA!
On a related note, US Soccer notes that this is the final match before Coach Bruce Arena will name his final preliminary 23 man roster for World Cup 2006 in Germany.
