The Joplin Lady Eagles opened their season by hosting Catholic on Wednesday. The game was won in the second half on a 50 yard shot by senior Rachel Driver, giving the Eagles a 2-1 win. Goals were scored by Joplin junior Laken Neal from the 6-foot box while Catholic tied the game in the second half off a corner kick. Maddie Renner assisted on Anna DeLong’s goal.
