Just a reminder to all that the KC Wiz will be visiting Springfield in two weeks. The annual exhibition match against the Missouri State Bears is scheduled for 7pm on Wednesday April 12th and will be held at Cooper Field #1. There are any number of reasons for attending this match, such as becoming familiar with the team that went undefeated during training in Germany earlier this month. With the season beginning Saturday, the game will be a great opportunity to learn more about a team that hopes to compete at the highest level with four National Team pool players on their roster (Wolff, Johnson, Zavagnin & Conrad). Oh, and there’s local favorite Jack Jewsbury!
More importantly, this annual event provides a significant means of support for our local boys. If you are a soccer fan, come out and support the Bears that evening. There are no high school games that I am aware of so we should have a great crowd at the game!
