I took in a couple of matches featuring local high school boys this afternoon, enjoying the brief respite from the weather offered to the St. Pat’s tournament and parade crowd. Spring High Select earned the win and Total Soccer (featured in the photo at left) held a 1-0 advantage at the half.
The buzz appeared positive around the youth boys and girls teams fielded by Springfield SC as well, with the U13 boy and girls teams winning early matches and holding leads in their second match when I departed. I’ll be out tomorrow for further updates, weather dependent. Taxes also are calling out to me but what better excuse to postpone that effort, eh!
