From today’s Joplin Globe:
Two prep standouts from Texas and a transfer are the newest members of the Missouri Southern women’s soccer team.
Jessica Harthcock and Stephanie Heines, club teammates in Texas, have signed national letters-of-intent with the MSSU program. Additionally, Lisa Senkle, a goalkeeper from California, will transfer to the Lions.
In 2006, Missouri Southern returns all of its starters from last year’s team that finished 11-5-4 overall and tied for second in the MIAA with a 7-3-4 ledger. The 2005 Lions tied the school record for victories and had their best-ever MIAA finish while also achieving the program’s first-ever national ranking.
