Kristine Lilly Reaches 301

I’m bringing you this story a bit late as the key date was Wednesday but with NPR jumping on the bandwagon yesterday, I thought there might be a few of you that may have missed this great story. Kristine Lilly, 34, has been playing on the US Women’s National Team since she was 16. In that time she has set a record for games played, among men and women worldwide, with 301 in yesterday’s tie against France. Here are some links to stories about Ms. Lilly and her experiences and continuing goals:

Pretty remarkable young lady. She’s planning on trying out for the 2007 Women’s World Cup!
