If there weren’t so much good soccer going on I’d guess I was going through burn out but that can’t be the case. Why? Because there’s too much good soccer! You wan’t proof?
3-2 Missouri State over Vanderbilt tonight in front of hundreds of folks. Way to go Lake Country! Oh, and that was in front of half a dozen recruits that are in town with their parents. Sweet.
2 - 0 Glendale over Jeff City Helias - the Crusaders just won their local derby earlier this week and are positioned to take the top seed in District 10 right now. The Falcons move to 19-2
2 - 1 Kickapoo over Jeff City Helias - in the early game the Chiefs scored first and held on for the win. The Chiefs move to 18-4
1 - 0 Chaminade over St. Thomas Aquinas (KS) if things remained as they stood with five minutes remaining
3 - 1 Glendale over Columbia Hickman - the Falcon’s scored in the first six minutes, again inside of 20 minutes and then traded goals in the second half in earning their 18th win
0 - 4 Kickapoo shut out by Hickman Kewpies - the late game, several starters missing for signficant time, the Chief’s know what they need to do. Look out Rolla.
And yes, I was at the majority of each of these games today. So pardon my lack of depth, I’m working on photos and videos but with tomorrow’s full schedule it may take a bit longer. More Lake Country tournament action, MSU Ladies and Drury Men & Women. See you there!
