Well, it’s a week of SGF derby’s, or as the Brit’s pronounce it, darby’s. Tonight’s result was a 2 -1 Pershing win. The Cherokee girls pushed hard to earn the tie but ran out of time. Megan Melugin’s counter-attack goal late in the match lit a fire under them. The rematch later this month should be a good game, especially if the weather is nicer. The wind was blowing and definitely affected play this evening.
I’ll have video of Megan’s goal and some other highlights later this week when I have some more time. Probably need to get it done before the Kickapoo Shoot Out this weekend!
